Welcome

Hey all, what's shakin'?
As I write this introductory paragraph, I'm starting to plan my Class of 2023 Model Rep program.
This will be my 15th straight year running a Rep program, and if all goes well, it will be my 13th straight year with 40+ Reps... all of them full-paying senior clients! 🎉💲💲🎉
If you already have an amazing Rep program, you can skip over the rest of this section, but if you don't, or you've been struggling to get your program off the ground, please read on!
OK, all the cool kids gone?
I'm toying with the idea of running a SENIORINSPIRE MODEL REP BOOTCAMP where participants will be able to follow along with me over the next several months as I create my Class of 2023 Rep program from initial recruitment through final sign-ups and beyond!
Spots will be limited, and we'll have a private Facebook group where I'll keep you updated every step of the way. What am I doing today? What's working? What's not?
You'll be able to ask questions and I'll be sharing EVERYTHING including Rep program templates, my senior magazine, the social media ads I run, the spreadsheets I use to stay organized, all the different emails and texts I send along the way to attract potential Reps including cold DM's that are NOT creepy!
Anything and everything that will help you set up a successful, long-term program!
The Bootcamp will run from November through when shooting starts in the spring and you'll be able to follow along and implement as we go.
By the end of the Bootcamp you'll either have or be well on your way to implementing your own successful model rep program!
I really believe the interactive nature of the Bootcamp will be unlike any other Rep Program training you may have purchased in the past!! This isn't a program you're going to buy and put to the side for later.
You WILL be accountable!
Is this something you'd be interested in?
I haven't fleshed out all the details, but if you think you might be interested in creating a Rep program that will deliver for you year after year, go to www.seniorinspire.com/bootcamp to get on our waiting list.
If enough people show interest I'll put together more details and announce an official launch in October.
Feel free to send me an email (or just hit reply) if you have questions or ideas.
I'd love to hear your thoughts!!
Instagram and Social Media

Hashtags at the Click of a Button
People say the proper use of hashtags are a great way to build your following on Instagram.
Personally, I'm a bit skeptical of that approach as I don't remember ever clicking on a hashtag unless my big fat thumb hit it by mistake.
That said, I'm not above trying a few hashtags to see if I can attract some QUALITY eyeballs to my account. And when I say quality, I mean @SugarDaddyWeirdo need not apply.
But how do you come up with hashtags that might help?
Check out this cool hashtag generator that should get you hashtagging in minutes!
Plug in a hashtag like #seniorphotos and in seconds you'll have a dozen or so relevant hashtags you can copy and paste right into your next post!
Does it work? I don't know. Is it worth a try? That's up to you... 😃

Simple Instagram Stories Hack
I've got an Instagram hack for you today that's so simple even your grandmother can do it.
Don't believe me?
Check out this cool, two part InstaHack from marketing coach Steven Mellor on Instagram.
Make sure you turn on the sound!
You can thank me later... 😃

7 Ideas To Get Your Creativity Unstuck
Heading into my 70th senior session of the season, this is the time of year I like least.
After awhile, senior season becomes a bit of a blur. Another day another senior with baggy dad jeans, obvious tan lines for me to 'just Photoshop' and the perfect, strapless bra she completely forgot at home.
Seriously, September to me means fried batteries and a fresh case of imposter syndrome setting in.
Ugh!
This is the time of year I always start looking for ways to spark my creativity and believe me, it ain't easy!
Here's an article I recently ran across some great ideas to help you overcome your creative drought. It mostly deals with writing and writer's block, but there are some good nuggets in here for photographers too!
Check it out!
Education

Say what?
Lindsay Adler is my favorite photography educator and her YouTube channel is MUST SEE VIEWING!
A few weeks ago, she posted a video that blew my mind! Your Camera Settings in the Studio Don't Matter.
Of course that's not LITERALLY true, but she does make a great case as to why your camera settings in the studio are not quite as important as you think they are.
Check out the video and then the next time someone on Facebook asks you what your camera setting were, you can tell them why 'they're not as important as you think'...
And Finally
Speaking of creativity...
Check out the 29 photos from English photographer, Oliver Howells. He took them using common household items and lays out exactly how he took each one. So cool!
That's all for this week, folks! Have a great one!
